COVID-19 Cleaning
With the outbreak of the novel coronovirus, COVID-19, attacking the entire United States, and world, we all need to be keeping everything more clean and safe. Kapadia Towels sells extremely economic washcloths that can help with this endeavor.

Cleaning vs. Disinfecting
What is the difference between cleaning and disinfecting? According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), cleaning removes dirt, germs and other impurities from the surface of an item. By removing these, chance of infection is lessened. Disinfecting uses chemicals that actually kill the germs on a surface. Where cleaning removes the germs, disinfecting will not remove the germs. With disinfecting, infection is not spread as readily because the germs are dead. For the COVID-19 virus, the CDC recommends cleaning surfaces followed by disinfecting as a best practice.
Soap and Water
Paper towels and cleaning wipes have become prize commodities in the COVID-19 pandemic, but this is not the only way, or a sustainable way to clean. Soap and water have been found to be the best way to clean this virus, and not only for your hands. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends cleaning and disinfecting commonly used areas of your house, such as light switches, doorknobs, cabinet and appliance handles, counters, faucets, TV remotes and tabletops.
Put on some rubber gloves, fill up a bucket with hot water, some dish soap and go to town on all of those surfaces with our Kapadia washcloths. Our white washcloths can be laundered with bleach to keep them clean and sanitized.

Disinfect
After cleaning household areas with soap and water, the CDC recommends disinfecting appropriate surfaces with a diluted household bleach solution of 1/3 of a cup of bleach to a gallon of water. Once again, our Kapadia washcloths can come to the rescue to help disinfect your house while using this bleach solution. Our washcloths are so economical, it is easy to grab a fresh one for each new disinfecting job you have to do.
Toilet Paper Shortage – Bidets
Now for a more delicate subject. As we are all aware, there has been a crazy amount of hoarding of toilet paper during the COVID-19 pandemic. One alternative to using so much toilet paper is to use a bidet. Most Americans are not accustomed to using a bidet, but this is a good time to learn.
For the uninitiated, a bidet is a sprayer that cleans you after you do your business. You may still need to use a little toilet paper. You will also be a bit wet after using a bidet. This is where our towels are especially handy. Again, our washcloths are so economical, you can have a whole stack of them sitting on the back of the toilet ready for use. Put a small hamper in the bathroom for the dirty washcloths and sanitize them with bleach when you launder them, a sustainable solution to our current problem.

Please Stay Well
The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on our entire world. We at Kapadia Towels hope that you, your friends and family stay well during this time. Please practice social distancing and stay home as much as possible.
